Boutique Home Boarding & Daycare for Small Dogs
Boutique Home Care
All dogs are unique and amazing, but smaller breeds often tend to be more needy and anxious. Many of these dogs crave constant attention and can experience loneliness when left alone.
Observing their behaviour during feeding, bathroom breaks, and playtime can provide valuable insights into their needs. If they show signs of distress in any of these situations, it may indicate that they require more attention.
For particularly needy and nervous dogs, solo care can be beneficial. This approach allows them to be exclusively with us rather than around other dogs, providing them with tranquillity and comfort in a familiar setting.
We welcome a maximum of three small dogs at any one time, enabling us to offer personalised care that is tailored to each dog’s routine and personality.
Our Services
Boarding
Specialist home boarding for small dogs who need extra love and attention.
We welcome a maximum of three wee ones at a time, allowing us to tailor our care to their unique needs fully. With an unparalleled "second home" experience, we have walks as and when, gated garden space for comfort breaks and games of fetch throughout the day. There are stories on the couch, always a given, supervised meals, and, for the needy, the king-size bed we dont get a say in!!
Day Care
We are pleased to offer convenient drop-off and pickup options before office hours, starting at 7 AM for daycare. Unlike doggy play centres that may not be suitable for all small and vulnerable dogs, we provide a calm environment with walks, engaging garden playtime, and plenty of cuddles.
Solo Care Exclusive
Solo Care: no other pets will be present during their stay. Many dogs—especially those who are rescues with a less fortunate start in life, as well as others who suffer from "COVID syndrome"—require one-on-one attention in a calm and tranquil environment.
Take Lulu, for example. She is a cockatoo that we boarded for a month, during which she received our undivided attention. That’s the essence of solo care: providing your pet with the focus they need!
Added Extras
Hair Matting in breeds such as Shih Tzus, Maltese, Yorkshire Terriers, Toy Poodles, Havanese, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels often require daily grooming to help avoid a tangled coat. We can assist with light daily grooming, dental hygiene, medication administration and other routine care needs.
My Story
In June 2021, I welcomed Ralphy, a lovable little Yorkie, 9yrs old with just three teeth, into my life through a rescue centre. Just two months later, I brought home Lulu, an elderly blind Poodle from the same organisation. Together, they have shown me the profound joy of companionship, the importance of care and giving, the beauty of affection, and the essence of unconditional love. This journey sparked the inspiration for Patsi Petit Paws, a mission close to my heart.
Our History
After spending 28 years in the Middle East, I relocated to Seaton Delaval in January 2026. I am enjoying many wonderful aspects of the North East, such as the changing seasons, the beautiful sunrises and sunsets in Seaton Sluice, the beaches of Whitley Bay, the lush green fields, and the amazing people. I also appreciate the abundance of dogs in the area, both large and small breeds. However, I have noticed a lack of specialised care for small dogs in the region.
I am licensed by the Northumbria Council with a 4-star rating (Licence No. NAL/349) with DBS enhanced certification. I was impressed by the standards and criteria set before the interview and inspection at our home, which provides peace of mind for pet owners.
